This happened to my very first transaction to a TD in the USA, I am in Canada.
after intial hiccup sending WU payment I had to pay again to another name the TD provided and since the $CAD sank cost me $40 more on my second attempt,
and then get this my shipment of one watch my very first REP got held at customs as gen and they wanted tax on a 10K watch. I ignored the notice after considering many options such as fake watch service invoice on this thread, or even just stating it was a rep cause apparently not illegal for personal use in Canada. in the end I chose ignore the Customs notice
The stars perfectly alined to **** up my first rep order or at least try my patience. Canada post policy with abandoned items is to post back to sender so we are waiting, the notice said they will dispose if not replied within 30 days but Canada post policy clearly states they will return to sender unless sender writes abandon on package.
I have since bought 2 reps costing about $400 each from china and I used western union and get cleared customs no prob. if its west coast seems to clear easier if it goes through Quebec some inspector has a hard on for watch's I have seen three other notices from him on this forum and another. Its the same inspector and signature as this post. the difference was he valued my watch at 10 k and stated it was not a gift.
I glad it worked out in this case thats one awesome Patek!!
