So just want to get this right - The rep bezel insert has the numbers and hash marks actually etched like a sub c bezel but the gen is smooth?

Also the newest batch of bp smpc has a case with shitty criwn guards unlike the perfect criwn guards on the old batch

Hi all newbie to the forum and from what I read so far you are all very knowledgeable ! Learnt abou the correct alignment today from the forum ( never to old hey

I wold like some advice if possible, I have a 007 anniversary rep but the crown no longer screws down. Been having trouble for a while now and it's been slowly getting worse till now and where it won't go back in what so ever so I'm thinking must be the threads worn away.

I'm looking for advice really on the best way forward to get it up and running again. Is it possible to purchase a replacement from somewhere and for it my self ? It looks pretty straight forwards to do but dont where to go to buy one so any help would be appreciated.

@Kabuta Sounds like your crown or tube are stripped, as you think. You'd probably want to replace them or have them replaced; ask whoever you bought the watch from if you can buy those parts or ship it back for repair somewhere.

Never take a rep to an AD and ask for parts/service...

Gen crown and tube or remove the crown and give the tube a pinch with some pliers - not too much just enough to let the threads catch again. Should get some extra life out of it

I really want this watch, unfortuantely the gen is too cheap to warrant me buying a rep

Well I just got the blue dial from InTime Ryan and I'm very impressed with it, other than the wrong shape crownguards.

Not worth buying gen IMO, save $2700.
