Small Factory?

Hi everyone,

As always apologies in advance for another new member question but any advice/opinions would be appreciated.

I approached my guy who I use from the invaluable TD list on here regarding getting an Omega Seamaster Commander watch. The only one he can source is from what is described as a 'small factory' and therefore not a name such as VSF etc that we all know and have heard of.

Does anyone know if these places are generally any good and to be trusted or should I leave well alone?

Hard to predict without more precise info or images.

It could be anything from a low-end shitter over mid-tier to almost high-end, but since we are talking about a Seamaster, it's at least safe to say that if it's not VSF, ORF or ZF, it will definitely not be the highest available rep category, but it could nevertheless still be decent. But, like I said, for a definite statement on the quality of the rep you will receive, a bit more info is needed... Otherwise it's just wild speculation...

It’s a lucky dip

Take your chances and if you dont like it you can resell and you won’t lose much

New members are very impressed with the small factory watches, whereas the more experienced members are a lot more particular
