Curious about making a sky dweller watch but wonder what movement is compatible because of the complications for setting?

You really can't make a Skydweller, there are only two rep movements that each provide an adequate representation of the gen functions. So if you want one, just read about the differences and pick the one you want.

I still have three of the DG5833 GMT movements used by Noob (and offshoot wannabe makers) that are running well, two of them are 5 years old.

The ZF version uses a modded 2824. You won't find anything different or better than one of these movements.

Skydweller Gen vs Noob

The original and only REAL Noob version is still a very nice rep, though the GMT wheel fonts weren't the best. I replaced that wheel and I wear it regularly, right in rotation with my gen.
