Nice post, this basically outlines it. The pure perfection of the gen of the APRO's is immense.. the rep really cannot come close. But if you want a nice rep, get the 39mm 15300 or the 41mm 15400.

Bezel hex screws are always misaligned most of the time. And you can't do anything about it because it's adhered.

The screws used in the bracelet are very very weak, easy to break.

The bracelet is relatively flimsy to me. . . And it's lighter than gen. The clasp is bad too.

The texture and color of three dials (cosmic blue, black and white) are accurate. However, the square box on the date window is only available on Black and Blue dial models (E series). Not the white.

You can't switch to leather strap out of the box: the endlinks are part of the bracelet. Don't even think about destroying the bracelet just for it, you need 4 for both sides. You can try ask local jeweler to make it for you, but I doubt it's an easy job to get perfect fit. Not only that, there is no leather strap for this model on the market. So you have to make the endlinks first then design the strap to fit it or the other way around.

Despite all this, if you can get one with perfect hex screws and looking to wear with the bracelet only. You're good. It's 36mm but wear like 38-40mm.

That as also what I was seeing. I just wanted to see of others were seeing the same problems.

I remain hesitant to order the 39 because I really don't like large watches. As much as I like the style, I think I will end up looking elsewhere. However, I do keep thinking about the 39. I have been looking through this thread for some 39 ROs' on 6.5" wrists. I like the watch, I just cannot convince myself that I will like wearing something that big.

Get the 36mm (14790st). Reject the watch until you get relatively good screw alignment. It doesn't look small on < 7.0" wrist. It looks rather very classy.

The thing with this model is that the watch is almost 20 years old. The gen hex screws are white gold and most gens you would see today have the rhodium plating faded off. So it looks more "yellow gold"

I think the 39mm is fine on a small 6.5" wrist.. here is mine and i've got a 6.5

39mm RO definitely looks a little bigger on a 6.5 wrist although it still looks okay.
36-7mm is probably a better look.
ROOs are a no go in my opinion.

As for a girls 6 inch wrist, girls can get away with wearing watches loose.
Men would look weird if they did the same.

Here is my 1675 on a 6.5" wrist. As you can see, anything bigger would look plain silly.
