STOOF, why in the hell did you get rid of that G37!?! i probably know the answer, but it's a beautiful show car.

A lease? Did they rape you for the rolled and stretched rear fenders?

I agree with you, there's nothing like boost. The GT on the last page is my first non-turbo car I've owned in the past 9 years (the is300 I posted earlier this year got a turbo kit before I sold it). That definitely won't last long though. I plan on doing a TKD twin turbo setup early next year.

Why would you put that much time and money into a lease??
The G was gorgeous, as is the Z4. How do you get that horse power to the ground in a car that light in the rear?

Well, i was planning to buy it out, but right at the end decided it wasnt worth it.

The rear fenders actually come pre-rolled from factory and i didnt pull them(much), so i was fine with that. I just got charged for curbed rims and some misc stuff. Not bad.

I put the car fully back to stock and sold all the parts for a nice chunk.

The z4 doesnt put down the power to well tbh, no LSD so i get wheelhop like crazy. But once it hooks up...hold on! lol Maybe once i swap the RFT to some quality rubber itll be better. Well see.

You got my attention with this. I've always owned Roadster's and recently have been eyeing an older model, a 2005 Z4. I lurk on the Z4 forum and quite frankly they have me a little scared with all the subframe failure talk...But your's is a beauty :)

That's what car forums do. They exacerbate every flaw a vehicle has. I wouldn't hold too much weight on it; the chances of it happening to you aren't as high as you would think.

Thanks Boost for the reassurance. I've been holding off buying this car for awhile now for fear of big problems and wasnt sure if it was just a small minority making a lot of noise about this issue or if it was a legitimate problem with these cars.

It's nice to get some good advice from real car afficianado's. :)

Thanks for the help Stoof...and welcome to the forum.

I'm glad I'm a pick-up truck kind of guy. Makes my options so much easier (and cheaper). Wouldn't trade my Ram for much (especially while I'm pipelining). I prefer being 4' off the road, than feel like my ass is scraping on it. lol
Don't get me wrong, I think those cars are gorgeous. Just can't see myself in one.

^Nice

I just traded in the Ducati 796 for an Aprilia RSV-4 APRC. Here's a couple cell phone pics. Last pic is the bike in my 2nd bedroom, lol. Quality pics to follow when my new camera arrives.

boostin that's nice, not as stiff as the duc is it?
Lol, you called me out about this question, so I feel guilty now. I'll do an association since we were both participating in that thread recently. The ducati handles like a f-150, and the aprilia handles like a ferrari 458 italia. It's night and day. The aprilia is the first bike that has ever scared me. I can take a off ramp at 90 without dragging a knee; this bike is insane.

Nice, that's what I thought I love ducatis but sometimes I think that they are not street friendly, great on track but for all around even the japanese are right up there, but of course Aprilia is the creme de la creme.

After the diavel of course ;) (yeah I know different categories...)

And they exacerbate every pro it has, too. Car forums.. A breed unto themselves.

The boost guage in my '11 WRX started flickering yesterday, I looked it up and found the answer on nasioc, (they're still good for that sortve thing). I had no idea the off topic section of nasioc was one of the biggest off topic forums on the net! How these people ended up converging on a subaru forum is beyond me.
