Can you confirm pugs can't swim? I can't get mine this close to water

Here she is with her favorite toy.

She was a present for my girlfriend. There is a real bond between us but she owns me even more than the lady, so manipulative

What a little cutie! Looks so innocent with her toy.

I believe all my dogs know just how to play me! To answer your question I will let a picture provide the answer.

The one male does not care to swim but he knows how. The 2 females are great swimmers and love the pool. None of the Pugs will swim unless I am in the water with them though. I made sure that they all knew how to get out of the pool so that if they get knocked in they know what to do to get out.

Six pups!? How crazy is your house sometimes? I'd love to have a couple pups. Once I get out of Manhattan and have some space I hope I can. And I have to have a pool so they can swim. Hercules hates the water, but loves floating on my paddle board lol

3 Pugs, 1 Cocker Spaniel and 2 Labs. Everybody gets rather vocal at their dinner time.

Hercules certainly does seem as though he may be spoiled. That is too funny; afraid of the water but loves the paddle board! Spoiling them is half the fun!
