I bent the bezel ring on Friday. :/ here she is with a new bezel ring from a spare v6. The older bezel rings look a little softer and the insert doesn't recess quite as much as current rings do. I like them.

Yeah, the newer crystals have AR. They look great in my opinion....

I'm of the opinion that while the newer crystals are clearly better and of a different design, they're not proper AR.

What is a realistic price? I see them listed all the way up to 950US brand new!!!!

Tempted to go flat 4 on mine, to match the date window font.

Nice photograph... you were able to capture some of the nuances of the insert and the crystal in that light...

All stock TC. It really doesn't get any better than this.

£80 for one in pretty much 'as new' condition. Got it from an eBay UK seller and will be picking it up and fitting it this evening. Will be interesting to compare to TC's.

I was torn between the flat and triangle 4s, but I think the former looks better with lugholes and the latter without. From Arcadia's superb thread on being period correct I'd guess either is acceptable. No way I'd pay more than £100, but then again that pales in comparison to the gen Sub C bezel cost!

Very reasonable. The only worry I have with used is that I don't want to buy one that looks in good condition visually, but that has lost its lume quality due to age or some other fault.

Okay here's my v6 with a newly fitted gen insert. I managed to get one in good nick from 2000-5 so the line matches the dial markings really well.

TC's latest insert is superb, but the gen just sets it off and is probably worth the money IMO...
