Almost 50 days since I have sent the payment for my TC... Anyone with similar experience please? Here's my older TC LV

^plenty of threads where people saying "I sent payment 90 days ago (or whatever), please help"

TC lead times are pretty random as far as I can tell. Some people get their watches in a few weeks, whilst others wait months and months.

I paid around 3rd/4th Jan and was told 'around' 60 days at that time but someone else paid 15th Dec and is still waiting.
That is Uk though.

Lot of the wait time depends on parts. Did you order the KH dial? That'll do it right there.

I believe they all come with the KH dials and the waiting time is longer as those dials are rare.

Did anybody pay extra for insured shipping when ordering their tc? How do you insure a replica?

You can pay more for insured shipping. But if you do that, you will have to declare the actual package value to make sense. Which will mean you will most likely incur extra custom taxes too...

So nobody does it. And I've only heard of one case where a member claimed to not have received his. EMS tracked and signed is very reliable I guess

U.K./EU orders are not sent direct to the buyer, they are sent by some method to his UK contact who forwards them on to each buyer by tracked insured mail which does not have any problems or customs issues once they are in the Uk.

U.K.
All Eu/Uk packages are sent via uk(Edinburgh) from memory. They are then sent to their final destination from my experience with Tc.

Been a daily beater for well over 12 months 24/7 day and night, its been subjected to paint, oil, boiling water, acid, sand, saltwater, paint dust, all kinds of knocks and beatings, its still waterproof and keeps good time although the power reserve isn't how it used to be, I have to wind it every few days when kept on my wrist unfortunately, for almost a year I've never had to wind it (although I did now and then!) when it finally stopped working after 12+ months I prepared some tools and a clean area, removed the caseback and took high resolution pictures of the movement quickly replaced caseback and studdied them for hours, I used tc's movement pictures from his blog and found a screw to be missing so I proceeded to remove The caseback and I find the missing screw, caseback back on I sharpen my smallest screwdriver, take the back off again re-insert and carefully tighten the missing screw and also check/tighten other visible screw heads, hey presto we have life! Everything has been good since!
