Oh wow. Did you have a v2 insert before the gen insert? Is it worth the price tag?
It is irrational but it is spectacular. The crystal upgrade and tweaking by Mike is a no brainerI can't answer that question rationally[emoji14] If you ask me, this whole watch is irrational
The insert was ~400 and the crystal was ~300 - the service to install misiekped was another hun. He does a fantastic job of flushing the bezel to the case by using a smaller gasket, and regulating the movement (and whatever other magic he works)...
The insert is debatable, depending on your existing LV V2. Some are darker than others. The crystal is definitely worth the upgrade.
Brother. Go to tc's blog and read everything all the info you'll need I'd available.Quick question, TC SUBs don't have the "ROLEX" engraving all around the dial?
Gen LV inserts are going for stupid money right now. I've seen them as high as $700. I'll have to wait and see how mine looks whether it's a bit lighter or darker than gen. Funny thing is I don't really like that green color in general. But for some reason on the watch it just pops and looks good. Irrational watch indeed.....
So he's making the mark I's ?
So he's making the mark I's ?
Did you read his blog before emailing him? He doesn't like it when you do so. Do some more research first, it will do you some goodThanks for pointing me in the correct direction.
pending tc reply to my emails before pulling the trigger
Who is mark?
Mark One dial from Rolex. The Mark I is a tritium dial anyway... I thought the TC dial was more of a Mark III
Well I thought it was funnyYea, who is mark was suppose to be a joke but apparently a very bad one, lol!
