I had this happen on my tc too. Took it to my watch guy. He removed the rotor and the movement plate. Said it was just stuck. He nudged the mainspring and all started working again. he said he couldn't explain why this had happened. No problems since.

Wow, so sorry to hear this bro... maybe it is an easy fix for a good smith, mine is ok and I have been wearing it maybe 70% of my time lately, if it fails I will install a gen 2824 movement

Get a gen eta and do the swap yourself, shipping it to and fro + service can set you back quite abit, there's still custom risk.

Received a very mint condition tc v6 ln with gen insert today

And also, just noticed some differences at the bottom of the cg between diff tc v6

Earlier tc v6

Later tc v6, rear of the cg are sloped up (same as tc v7), shape is closer to gen
