What you see there is a TC V7X with Gen crystal, Gen Hands, Gen Crown, WSO tube, Gen DW and a Tickleshoes Yuki with a Gen auto wind Module from @lukko
Today's project. I was overly ambitious and have absolutely no mechanical skill but check it out!
TC V7X LV stock
TC insert has been changed and a gen insert is in the bezel. The TC insert is on top for comparison.
The bezel removed and that damned click spring is showing. That little part comes back to haunt me later!
Removing the Stock TC Crystal
Stock crystal remove and Gen Period Correct Crystal is in place.
The finished Job! Gen LV Insert and Gen Crystal!!!

I have a gen crown to install soon, but I'm probably going to have someone else do that.

Quick question: No black hole is correct for 5 digit LN and LV? Only black hole for 6 digits?
I was one of the last lucky guys that bought a TC V7x , but I'm so happy with it that I realized that I need a gen and I'm looking for one in mint condition. I'm thinking if I want to keep this TC or not once I got my hands on a gen. What would you do in my case? keep it or let it go?

Keep it and get a 6 digit sub, unmodded tc v7 is as close as it gets to a gen 5 digit sub

Keep it and turn it into an lv or 16613. Or put a gen LB insert on
