Quick question for those of you that have swapped to gen xtal. Were you able to use the existing gasket, or did you have to replace? If so, would you happen to remember what size? Thank you!

It's a different gasket and it should be gen specs. Use the one that comes with gen xtal if you buy new.

The only differences between TC crystal gasket and gen crystal gasket? Is maybe height (2.5and,2.35,3.0)or better quility? I have used TC crystal gasket (2.8) with gen Xtal many times because TC crystal gasket is gen spec and the same construction as gen. If I got a brand new gen gasket with the gen xtal? I would use the gen. But I had bought just the crystal and didn't have a gen crystal gasket? I would make do with the TC crystal gasket if it hadn't been damaged or anything

So have had this Gen LN insert for awhile in fact had it long before taking delivery of the LVx but couldn't bring myself to busting open the virgin Rolex package but being that I prefer a black insert but a Maxi-dial and hands and being that my beater has been a BP LV for the last four years the green just wasn't doing it for me anymore so I finally got around to fitting it today.

The swap went easier than I remembered from when I did my V6 and no damage done through the re-fit:drinks_cheers:

Not "correct" having the Black insert on an LV of course but correct is for spelling bees and maths exams so I'm loving the look.

Gen LN insert fresh out of blister package.

Just fitted.

And of course a wristie by the pool and in the garden.

I love this combo, wore it for years like that
