I've been using the AR cyclops and no one has noticed
I highly recommend it for visual pleasure. If you do decide on AR, even though its not correct, be sure to get the B25-295-CAR-C1 glass.. It has the correct bevel for the 5 digit sub. The 6 digit glass has a rounded edge and looks weird on the 5 digit sub...
Wait 6 more days. Now do I order from tc and wait two months or hope one pops up on m2m?
I have a spare TC LN V6 I've been teetering on the edge of listing in the M2M section. Brand new, bracelet never sized, never worn outside, TC's insert is on the side (not installed), perfect bezel (sits flush and turns easily).... Just bought it for a spare. If that's something that you'd be interested in, I could list it M2M and give you first right of refusal. This assumes I come to terms with selling it
The problem with the M2Ms, is that the cherries are all popped. There's nothing quite like the TC experience. I highly recommend a purchase directly from him (with the insert on the side). Then use the mean time to find the gen insert..
I'm not sure if it's totally set. Before Rudy I was having a hard time deciding one way or the other and then when I saw the pics he was sharing I wanted it bad. I think I like the maxi dial with a black or green insert. I'm sure I would be happy with either though. I like the idea of buying straight from TC and opening a brand new one, but I don't like the idea of a wait. I supposed I could buy myself something else in the meantime

why did you have one just as a spare? why order it with the insert on the side? Just makes it easier to put the gen on? If you decided you would part with it I would be interested. Have to make a sales thread though! Or Raddave will kick my a** lol
I ordered it as a spare because I couldn't find a good watchsmith.... I figured rather than getting it serviced, I'd swap engines... and the spare would also serve as a donor for other parts. But now I've found a good watchsmith... scratch that. I found an outstanding watchsmith. So it's just sitting there..
The watch is about 9 months old in my watchbox.. Yep... insert is on the side to ease gen install. I also have a spare gen LN insert in the blister pack. It was purchased as a mate to the watch... or a spare to my existing.
Yep, of course it'd be on the M2M section of the board if moving forward.
I'm in no hurry... give it some thought... the big question on the TC 16610s is do you want the maxi dial with the green insert, or do you want the more classic dial with the black insert?
Guys do you know if TC V6 Sub ordered you get a cadell insert as well? I got LV some time back and now I am waiting Thomas answer to get a classic Sub.. LV I have sold but this classic I will keep and maybe in the future franken it with a good xtal and maybe crown.. Insert looks good from what I see in the pics, you think gen one is needed so much??

I think the Caddell insert was part of the package of the LN but he replaced this with the new TC Submariner insert. The Caddell vintage insert was rounded and incorrect looking for the Submariner it was trying to emulate.
The new TC Submariner insert is very good! With it, you don't need a gen insert. and you'll never be called out on it (except on here).... but there are still some differences... enough that most of us can call it out in photos.
Yes I have red about the Caddell insert, looks more vintage but of course different than it should be..
Well anything you do in here you cannot escape from our experts eyes lolol!!! To me "to be called out" is never an issue as I always state that the watch I wear is a rep or not (if asked of course), it is just that I need the best looking before my eyes as most of us in here.. I have purchased now the SD4K (latest from Noob) which is my fav 6digit Rolex and I will get the TC Sub and see how I feel with it. This time I will give it a good chance since I feel did injustice to the TC LV
