Should it read Glashütte or Glashotte on the back case?

I am looking to buy a nice Glashütte rep, but there is one small thing bugging me. On the back case, it says "Glashütte" with the correct italic style and all, but underneath, it says:

GLASHOTTE / SA

Now...is that a spelling mistake on an otherwise great looking watch from a trusted dealer at RG, or does it really say GLASHOTTE on the gens as well? That is, the gens with a closed back case.

Anyone?

Do you have the model number?

I seem to remember seeing Glasshotte on a gen rotor before. Not sure about case back. It was something like "Glasshotte M-something GLASHÃœTTE/SA"

With the model number I'm sure I could find gen pics.

For example.. see the rotor on that one ^ looks like it has an O . . .

Also this one if you click on the movement pic.

However, its hard to tell if they are actually Os or just U with the .. above it

Well, given the name of the actual town in Germany was Glashütte, where many a watch company originated from.

It's not likely that Glashotte is correct.

automatics: Just my thought as well.

dustin: The model should be this one:
Glashütte Original Senator 100-08-03-02-04

But this one is with a closed back. Don´t know if it is an earlier model.

I can't find any images of that model with a solid case back ......

I'm of no use. ..

Thanks. Also got it confirmed from the dealer. It´s a bad rep.
Too bad...would have liked it if it had been a bit more like the gen.

Anyway - that´s life being a rep-fanatic I guess. Win some, lose some :)
