@hurk sorry to revive you on this thread but did this still work out for you? i'm still afraid these kind of boxes are not tall enough

yea i still use small flat rate boxes for most watches as long as they dont have integrated bracelets.

bubble wrap like crazy and i stuff the box with treats and etc so it doesnt move around.

I had an incident recently where some motherfucker cut the tapes and stole the watches out of it so now im using security tapes around the edges and keeping track of the weights.

Dropping them off at the post office so i have the weight entered on receipt instead of having my mailman just take them.

I was doing signature only as i think that gives them a little extra security.

what else....

started making bullshit reference numbers for buyers to note on payment incase we need to file insurance and can prove payment is in relation to the purchase.

From doing so I found out fedex actually only insures their shit up to $1000 and anything beyond that has to be through a 3rd party.
