I was not a big fan of previous SevenFriday watches but this last V serie is very nice... still i'm not sure if i want to buy a gen or a rep... the gens are not that expensive.

You can allways buy the rep for 1/4 of the price, if you like it, flip it here and buy the gen!

Well as far as I know the AD's of SF gets them for 60-70% discount of what they sell for. So when you factor in the discount the price comes down fairly close to rep price. So I have a feeling that the gen factory is selling the watches to the rep market probably just run unauthorized shifts and making these "reps" and making a few extra bucks.

May be the first SF worth getting. Wonder if this wooden box is obtainable, angus lists just the watch, no mention of a box.

Are you referring to my photos or the rep itself? If the former, they were taken with my iPhone 6 Plus phone camera, so there may be a bit of over saturation going on. Until someone does a hands-on side by side comparison between the rep and gen, we really can't be sure. But from my personal research, the rep is like it "fell off the back of the gen truck." It's that good.
