Not to worry. I took a genunie Breitling into a spa without screwing down the crown. When I got out there was fog on the inside of the crystal. I took it to the jeweler and he told me to unscew the crown all the way and set it aside and it will equalize to the humity of the outside air. DO NOT HEAT IT UP. The fogged inside crystal went away in a day or two. I did that over a year ago and it has been running fine since.

put your watch in a tupperware bowl with a few silica gel packets with the crown and He valve open...should clear it up...make sure you have the lid on

Just curious.... WHY did the water pearls start to show up when the watch was heated at max? shouldn't they come when the outside of the crystal is colder than the inside?

No I don't but with the open movement it should dry out soon :) thanks... it should be as dry then as when it was built or when someone would have serviced it...

to properly dry the watch...

you need to open it up, remove the movement and dial, and let it sit in a dry (but not hot) corner for a day or so... then you should blow away the dust with canned air, and re-assemble. Trapped moisture, if not properly removed, is VERY bad for a mechanical movement.

watch fell in water, little bit of fog on crystal on the inside what to do.....

Leave the watch on your wrist until the fog goes away form being on the crystal.
When you see the fog on the crystal, that means it is NOT settling on the movement.
Your body heat will keep the crystal fogged up until the water dries out.

or open the HE Valve and fill the whole watch up with clear oil...thats what SINN is doing....no corrosion issue....and sweeper movement !

If water got inside the case you need to take it apart in order to solve the problem. Humidity or water inside the case and movement is no good. Remove the movement if you can then clean everything and you will be OK.

Don't drop the watch into water.

Heating up is not a good solution. I have proven putting the watch into small tupperware/small zip lock bag with A LOT of silica gel will help a lot after a couple of days. Moisture is gone.
