I've been interested by monsters for quite sometimes already.

Only thing that blocked me from buying was that the movement doesn't hack nor handwind... Makes it a bit of a PITA if you just wear it from times to times... (which would be the case with me... )

Dont let this be a deal breaker! It's not that much of a hassle to live with.
You can't beat it for the price.

Any automatic Seikos that i've had literally come alive as you pick them up. They really don't need handwinding at all.

I've read that it actually IS superluminova C3 under a different name, or that C3 is lumibrite rebranded... don't remember which, but they surely are very similar.

Nope, Lumibright is brighter than C3 but it's courser which is why. Def not the same stuff.

Why? As has been said one quick shake and she's away and so what if it doesn't hack? If you need to the second accuracy you need quartz. As Fakey says: "Quartz, for when you absolutely, positively have to kill someone on time".
