Anything's possible, but this would be pointless.

The closest match would be a rep sub with ETA 2824, since the hands would fit the Seiko 7s26. But even then, the dial would need the feet cut off, then glued to the movement. The 7s26 movement is also wider by about 1mm, and thicker by 0.5mm, so you'd have to machine the case, if that's even possible. Finally, the crown stem wouldn't fit, so you'd have to hack a rep rolex crown onto a seiko stem somehow.

Keep in mind that an ETA 2824 would probably outperform a 7s26 anyways. So short answer, no.

ok thanks , just a shame the bullet proof 7s26 is not a drop in replacement .
good info.
oh yeh i waould take a 7s26 over an eta anyday
not a chance of the eta outlasting the the seiko .
the 7s26 will run for over 20 years with no service .
eta are good , but not that good .

They both have their pluses and minuses. I like the 7s26 as well. Maybe outperform might not be the best word when describing the ETA in comparison to the 7s26, but the 7s26 is a bad movement for a watch that you hope to wear every day without having to set the time regularly, since being +/-30sec a day is within specifications of a 7s26. In just 10 days, you're 5 minutes slow or fast. If the 7s26 watch is in a rotation where you have to set the time every time you wear it, it'll be fine. The ETAs and Sellitas I have are always under +/-10sec a day, usually under +/-5.
