Hello guys, I’m extremely new to here, but I’ve been following the forum for a long time. I’m really excited cuz now I’m finally able to communicate with you all since I succeeded to bring my lazy ass to register an account.

Anyways, I’ve anticipated HW factory for a while since it’s hard to get either Noob or XF nowadays. HW has shown us some good works so far, but not so satisfyingly yet.

However, recently I checked out a Chinese youtuber’s review for hwf PAM 111 which was uploaded a month ago, and realized that they’ve got some minor but critical updates! The Chinese guy also claims that hwf has upgraded their PAM 111 to V2!

and here is the link of the video:

Its English sub is really rough, but not too difficult to understand. And according to his review, he thinks that it looks exactly the same as XF. In the meanwhile, there were couple of elements I noticed that are so much better than any other factory’s works especially its caseback.

For example, if you check out the video, you will notice that the caseback’s engraved numbers of limited edition numbering is quite different from before. In fact, I think it is the closest to gen than any other factories’ works I’ve seen.

Overall, I honestly don’t see much of a flaw at all. The movement looks good and well polished compared to before, the dial and the case don’t really show any notable flaw as well. so in general, I think it would be a really good substitution for either noob or xf.

what do u think?

Heard about V2 from HWF but didn't see any good photos.

Let's wait...

In the video it really seems that movt. Is not so roughly processed, but I'm not sure if this is not a specific shooting.

The overly wide cutouts of the sandwich remain unchanged.

In the case, I did not notice any changes, but for this you need to have good photos, or a watch for comparison, from the video, a conclusion cannot be drawn.

As for the caseback, if I'm not mistaken, the PAM111 stopped production on the R series, therefore, I see no reason to make engraving better in order to engrave incorrect data in a new quality.
Of course, the last case for the PAM111 was 6727, and the 7060 has nothing to do with this model (This is a carbotech case number that didn't even have such a caseback, so it's just the wrong part).

Nevertheless, let's wait for the photos and see what they changed in detail, but so far I do not see any reason to compare them with anything that was released earlier.

Yeah not impressed either. Looks exactly the same as the previous one, it even has a blue AR which I'm not sure the v1 had.
Which is a pity really, I was all excited when I saw the title of the post.

Dial is pretty bad on this 111, cut outs are way too thick. I don’t see any improvements.

So what's the latest news on HWF? We crapped on their most anticipated releases, namely the 911, 779 and 177 so badly, I am almost starting to feel bad.

The caseset is very decent though. It is just the dial. But that is replaceable. In the future, when you feel like it, you can source a decent 111 dial and it will be spot on.
