Seems as if the new 3KF 5711 has a thinned bezel and shortened crown…

Not sure if I’m seeing things, but I got QC photos of a 3KF 5711 today and they seem really really good. The case seems very accurate to gen and doesn’t seem to suffer from the fat bezel issue or the long/protruding crown issue when looking dial up. I have attached some side by side pictures of my 3K and Gen.

Of course the date wheel font is still too thin and the hour markers have thinner black outlining than gen, but overall I’m pretty happy with this particular one so far.

What do y’all think?

I think with 3K it's just the luck of the draw, some watches have tighter crowns and case gap tolerances, some have bezel edge lip nicely polished, some don't.

This must be the case. There does seem to be a big variety in these.

Correct. No mods done and planned. Loving it as is. Your white looks great. My next purchase for sure. In fact, I like 3KF's quality so much I'd venture to say it's the best made rep I own or touched. Sublime and better than many more expensive gens (low and mid tier). Wear your in good health.

Unfortunately the bezel appearance in pics highly depends upon the camera, lens, distance and angle used during the photography but the watch on your QC pics looks pretty good to my eyes nonetheless.

One thing I've noticed in QCs from the latest batches of 3K 5711s - case bevels are not so deep and agressive anymore, that's a very nice change and it looks more genlike. Also I agree on what grillbill said - yours looks great apart from few markers not being 100% perfect but that's not a big deal. I'd GL this in a second and be very happy with it.

BTW @Dienekes, I appreciate your frequent snaps of your watch - helps me assess the 'dial color issue' and realize that it varies radically depending upon the lighting conditions, face angle, etc. Really fascinating and helpful.

I appreciate someone notices the sole purpose of me spamming that beauty All jokes aside, it's so wonderfully dynamic. Typical sunburst dials I've came across provide one color in many shades, from very dark to light. 3KF's blue, and gen PP for that matter, does not only that, but sprinkle in some other colors to the mix which is amazing. Obviously, in person it looks much better, but at least those pics show how many faces said dial has. I do like it. A lot. Light plays huge role in how this dial performs, obviously.

Mind you, there are different 3KF's variants out there (as per gen, haha). I think I saw at least 3 slightly different dials color wise during my QC process alone.

The bezel and crown look pretty good to me.. I am thinking of getting one myself, I prefer the blue dial but it seems that the dials available are still quite far from the Gen.. Have you received the watch already? can you post some photos with outdoor light?

Are they noticeable without zoom? Maybe I'm not looking to the correct area. Is it the polished and unpolished areas of the bezel that are not correct? The crown from the gen and rep In the first photo look almost the same to my eyes

Yes I have the watch in hand. Installing a Keylog datewheel next week and I think that's all I'm going to do to it. It's pretty impressive/feels great in hand.
