I'm waiting as we speak for an Omega GMT which I took a gamble on for $85 shipped off Ioffer, it's passed through customs according to the tracking. Just hope it looks like the photos, if it does it'll be a bargain, here's hoping...
Arrived today, the first watch was lost in the post so the dealer sent out a replacement. Watch was the same as the photos, really cheap, all functions work and seems to keep good time, so I'm a happy camper. Tread carefully but there ARE bargains to be had on iOffer...
I had an 007 SMP bought locally for $80 which was pretty nice, apart from the helium valve location. I'm pretty sure it's the same ones they sell on ioffer so that indicates there's quite a large profit margin on these reps.
Someone just pm'd me regarding my purchase off iOffer here's my reply and the advice I gave him as it may be useful to other members who are willing to take a chance. Feel free to add anything or post comments on what I told him...
''The golden rule with iOffer and CQout is to really study the different dealers selling history and feedback. Check that their transactions aren't all recent and that the people who have bought from them, who have bothered to leave feedback/ratings, have been members for a while.
Bear in mind it's not like E-bay in that a lot of people don't leave feedback for there purchases, so if say, the dealer I bought this watch off has 40+ ratings but a 100+ transactions with no bad feedback over several months, he is likely to be o.k.
One more bit of advice, don't use the 'make offer' button, simply use 'ask seller a question' to make any offers/deals, that way you aren't tied to buy it if he accepts.''
