The big question is... and has been asked more than once... lol

Who did the AR coating?

Thanks in advance. ;)

The op did it for me, however it is peeling. I still love it though

Seriously when it's in the watch box the ar matches my two gens.if the op finds a new ar house, I would do it again.

Seems like blue with a shade of purple. Do you have before and after shots?

The crystals from that batch had to be stripped and re-coated (except yours, since you decided not to have it re-coated). There was a process problem and the AR was not sticking properly (I was pretty angry). If this next batch doesn't turn out, I may have to find someone else to apply the coating.
I'm confident that the material I'm specifying is the same as what Breitling uses. The only issue is having the coating properly applied (it has been hit-and-miss).

Post #14 of this thread shows Breitest24's crystal on top of my V3 SA. You can see the difference in color of the reflected light.

Thanks for posting this thread on how to remove the Seawolf bezel. I got my watch used and the previous owner had bent the tabs back on the bezel to get the crystal out for Taka AR service. The tabs were visibly damaged from doing this.

I actually used a razor blade at 6 o'clock to get between the case and the bezel and pushed the head of the razor down hard and it moved the bezel up a little. With the razor still in place I was able to slide a small screwdriver between the blade and the bezel (to protect the case from damage) and it popped right out.

I was able to rest the tab of the bezel on 1" steel rod and used a small hammer to bang the tabs flat again. Then I completely covered the bezel with masking tape and left the tabs exposed. I took a dremel with a felt wheel and some polising compound and shined them to a mirror finish. You would never know they were ever damaged.

Man I love it when a lad has a go. Even better when it works out. Well done. Did you take any pics?

I have before pics. I need to get access to an SLR again to get the close up shot that I need. I should be able to get it tomorrow.

Finally got some. Here is the before and after on the pearl tab. Notice before it was all pitted and there was that big crease on it. The lines on the "after" are not scratches but finger oil, I should have used a cloth to wipe it, it has a mirror finish. Wish I had noticed that.

All 4 of them were damaged like this. They all look new now. The second picture was taken under a microscope at around 15x
