Hi All, apologies for writing here but I am kinda desperate as I need to source a spare caseback and the idea is to cannibalize a cheapo from Aliexpress or Dhgate.

Is there someone with a cheap Seamaster pre ceramic model so kind to meausure the caseback?
I would need to know the total external diameter and the diameter of the internal threads.

Gen comes with these sizes 38mm (external caseback) and 34mmm (internal threads).

Apologies once again!

1. New tube and/or crown
2. You shorten the stem and keep the crown as push in
3. You slightly squeeze the tube and hope for the best

1. Best
3. Worst

Thank you pippo for your help!
Do you guys know someone who can fix it? (Possibly in Italy…)
I am not able to do it on my own.

If you don't have any local independent watchmaker who is willing to work on a rep, in Italy there are at least 3 watchmakers (2 of them are even trusted ones by RWI, IIRC).
You can find them in this section:

Some of their works might also be described in the Italian section of this forum, which I anyway encourage you to browse:
