Sausage lume VS sandwich lume (help!)

Thanks watch fanatic. So does anyone have a sausage dial from dsn where the sausage dial doesn't seem to be lumed?
The problem is I pay over 400 for a watch brand new from DSN which is advertised super lumed and it comes like a rep dial. I don't want to pay more for something that should have already been done.
Can anyone confirm this is how a DSN sausage dial should be?

So from all the DSN articles coming up at the moment i take it that it would be adbisable to put any plans to buy from him at the moment on hold?

CH- My watch has no flaws...all I'm doing is questioning the intensity of the lume..

SE thanks for the pic. I think that's a sandwich dial but it still shows the huge difference in how super lume glows compared to the DSN 195 in question.

Well if indeed the watch is super lumed which the ad states it to be why don't the hands glow brighter? I've lumed just hands before and they glow like a torch and in this case they should as well as there is more surface area and the lume can be applied thicker. BUT on this watch its just a faint glow like rep lume. I'm just curious as why this would be if it was super lumed...
Did you contact DSN and send him the comparison pics? I recently received a 165 from him, the dial had a very weak lume. Sent him an email with a lume shot, and he got back to me telling me that he'd send out another better lumed dial.
The one thing I find about his sausage luming though, is the application of lume. My DSN 088 and "shiny purple dialed" 228 GMT both look like their lume was applied by an epileptic during a seizure. But you can only see this in close-up pics, or if you bring the dial very close to your face.

How was the dial you got? Was it significantly brighter?
The problem is the hands don even glow well. Like nothing was lumed...

The dial is currently over the Ocean

I hope. My biggest fear is that he will send another set and it will be the same. Just not something I would expect from DSN. And then I will have paid for a watch I could have built myself for about half that...

Well, I have heard stories of people having to have two or more dials sent before getting a good one.
Look at this DSN sausage dial with superlume... looks nothing like what you got!

Is it just the way you took the pics, or is the colour of your lume more of a bluish-green? My DSN 088 doesn't have the bluish tint to it.

.. I've heard better things about them then I have sausage ones.
Theres a higher chance of getting a well lumed one if you go the sandwich route
