Hi Guys.
My DSSD V6s with the infamous SA3135 gave up after less than a month. Been in the drawer for a while - but plan to go ahead and service it - along with youtube.
I just inspected the movement and noticed the Black wheel between the two reds looks like most of the theeth is filled up with grime or stripped?

I Can Wind it and autowind works - but watch is dead?
Any ideas - could it just be a cleaning? Or a Yuki?
Regards
Chr

Well - everything is a mess. Metal shavings on the stem - and picture of autowind speaks for itself.
Guess if you get a Noob SA3135 get it serviced ASAP.

This is definitely a nogo.
The customers buy a watch and pay more for a better movement. Then they get sth like this?
There you can see they are using old Winds just because they know we can't do anything against this.

King regards

I will say that the State of the movement is a joke - but I will admit that there haven't been a shortage of warnings about the SA3135
Now I provide one more

I have had two of these movements brake down on me. The first i replaced with a Yuki and the second sent for repair and full service and its great now. I would recommend a instant service when members get these from our td´s / members.

Appreciate the head's up and visuals to certainly back it. Definitely hastens my own timeline of what I'll be doing with my JF 114300 w/ the 3132 when it arrives (heck, might as well send it directly to be serviced).

I'd be interested to hear a little more detail. I am considering a new/serviced Yuki 3135 for my Sub Noob V7. Stock movement lasted 2 weeks. $500 is a lot to spend on the movement and I am wondering what kind of reliability I can expect with the Yuki Crown and Skull 3135 ? Is it worth getting my existing movement serviced or will it just die again? The NoobV7 is a nice watch and I'd really like to add some durability/reliability. Thank you!

Would recommend the yuki, i have it in two of my greatest frankens and they even take about 85% gen parts from what i have read about. The problem with the SA3135 is there aren't any parts for it if it brakes but yuki is totally different in regards to fixing and getting parts. I also read that you should never adjust the time between 22.00 and 02.00 with the yuki and sa3135. @Tickleshoes is my man when it comes to yukis and he might shred some light ?

Thanks bud. The SA can be fixed but the Yuki is more robust. Basically @velox laid everything out perfectly. New "forum member" prices are $385 serviced or $275 stock though so you'd save some money there.

You can certainly adjust the time, but don't quick set the date.

Do you know where I can get new reversing wheels for my SA3135?
Mine are broken and slip. Is there any way in hell to make gen spec reversing wheels fit?

Nope, gen won't fit. They're too thick. Shoot me a pm and I can send you whatever you need.
