Too good to be true

It's a scam. Even non TD/local price for this piece is around 2700 yuan for the A2824 which is around 370 usd. So nowhere near half.

The piece with SW200 is around 130 usd more at around 500 usd.

Wanted to give an update on availability of this watch for any curious, as I am currently on the hunt (desperately) for the black version!

I have checked with every single TD on this forum and a couple from Reddit which have been mentioned...

Everyone has said no unavailable apart from
Jtime- yes available to order
Sead- checking
Geektime (Reddit) yes available to order
Panda (Reddit) checking too

My understanding is the black is not in demand so highly unlikely it is actually available but the green and blue should be very much available the factory is just not produced often (or at least that's the feedback I'm being given)

The One Watch told me to my question if RXF stoped producing it as follows: "yeah" "no factory making now". I don't know how reliable this info is tho since he is the only one who claimed this.

Andiot says he can source it but he has no idea when they will arrive.

Hont says that he hasn't had any come in in a long time.

Is this normal for less desirable reps or is there something going on?

This is normal unfortunately

The way I believe it works, correct me if I’m wrong, but they will make say a batch of dials from a dial maker, a batch of cases from a case maker, etc.
those parts get delivered to the “factory” who assembles it, once those parts are used up, there might be a bunch of bezels and cases and crown leftover but no dials
The only way to get more is for the factory to put in another huge order.

So maybe they will make more in the future if there is demand, maybe they won’t

With Rolex, they are so popular, they generally keep ordering more parts. With less desirable stuff that took a long while to sell, they may move on to another model.
