I'm with you there. The greyish FC pattern is kinda off-putting. I actually found a 27-01 rep with a clear caseback on instagram though! Pretty intriguing imo
The gen doesn't come with a red strap.
The strap is the least of your worries. The hands ruin it. Aside from that, it's pretty good.

Looks Good JJ. You know I never actually wore my RM because the movement didn't work. But managed to get my hands on a gen movement so need to do an engine swap.
That's a Miyota gen not an RM gen. [emoji30]
Now I need someone to swap it out!
The sapphire is RM56-01. I got it from my local TD. Sorry, can't help you with international TD.

That is indeed quite nice!! Wonder when our TDs can offer it.

I think the white FC is pretty intriguing, it doesn't look "neat" but my eyes seems can't stop looking at it while i'm wearing it.
It also has some texture when you touch it, unlike the smooth black FC.
I think if only the colour is more white than grey, it would be a really nice RM reps.

Which one you guys think looks better? With red strap or black strap?
Your very lucky to get hold of a gen movement. I would be interested in that as considered selling my gen RM now to try something else.

Interested to hear about they compare in look and feel to the rep. The gears on the rep are definitely poor but what else lets it down compared to the gen?
This thing is so light I love it !! Wish they made a tourbillon model though
