Firstly a major thanks to all the People who took the time out to start this site & all the people since whom contribute & share valueable knowledge making this place fabulous.

i have always noticed & admired quality watches where ever i went but it wasn't until i bought a few timepieces from Hont for myself over the last few weeks that i knew exactly how blissful that feeling can be to have it as my own.

These are a few 1st shots of my puppies so far. i had limited time to take the photos & still learning about angles and light but felt i wanted to give something back to this site whilst still in the honeymoon period.

This IWC watch is so subtle & elegant,i simply adore it on my wrist..it's the watch i always wanted even before i knew it exsited.

BlackSeal_1.jpg

This Panerai was a recent purchase & arrived last friday from the very special Mr Hont, i orginally wanted a MB Timewalker but opted for this and absolutely love it. Panerai are an enigma to me they should not work but definately do,they are aesthetically beautiful & this is my little Black Pearl.

Big_Pilot_1.jpg

IWC Big Pilot, this is my watch to wear with jeans & T-Shirt,it makes me feel so Alpha,it's like the Lynx effect,Can't get enough of it.

Not bad! I really like that black seal! You may look into getting a light umbrella or diffusion screen to help with the lighting. Could help eliminate the glare and soften the light. I've seen them around for about $30 but, I'm sure there is a way to make one.

thanks Mobius, all tips are more than welcome..i struggled to balance the watches in a old D&G aftershave box,i quite liked the shiny effect..light wise i will take note for next time..

not sure wot iso i should have taken them at..my camera is a relic fuji finepix f610,just wish i more time to do the watches justice.

As for the Black Seal its a hidden gem, maybe i'm missing the posts but it seems people had overlooked it. i asked Hont speciffically for the full ceramic Pvd version, lots of blue tint which adds to the allure of the piece.

When I first saw the title of this thread the movie Citizen Kane came to mind.

Congrats of your reps, all great watches and already taking pics too. You are a fast learner. :D

My initial thoughts as well and one of my favorite movies. I like your photos. They have a certain "mechanical" feel to them.

thanks cybee..i suppose the quote 'never leave for tommorow what u can do today' always kinda stuck in my head plus the shortened version 'F*** it just do it.'

that's very observant fiddo i never would have thought my items were mechanical but maybe my shots are..interesting take.

Yes your both correct..to be honest it wasn't a concious decision to call the topic Rosebud but i loved the brillant opening scene in Citizen Kane & could feel empathy towards the person in the film for something that matters.

it just all popped into my head but felt quite apt to call it Rosebud.

Citizen Cane works, lol! But, honestly my first thought was from Fat Bastard on the Austin power movie where he was a sumo wrestler. "Oops ... left a rosebud in there for ya!" LOL! Sorry.
