How long do you guys think we will have to wait until the Sub C's are top notch like the 16610 subs.......they can't get the ceramic bezel right.

You would think the highest repped watch in the world would get the factories attention of doing it right. Dssd's need a overhaul as well......

Well the noobfactory really is the only factory that has the closest case so far. I think Angus would help persuade them that a 1:1 ceramic sub with the same quality as the recent Panerai super reps would sell well. But be warned, a super rep ceramic sub will cost more than the super rep Panerai. Probably around the $400 mark I would say.

Hey thanks this awesome as I am new to Rolex reps. Just a suggestion maybe a guide to different model numbers for subs. I just recently realized that the 116610 and 16610 are different and not just typos.

I need help identifying this movement.

Ok folks, the bare bones are there. But I really need help in fleshing it out. If you feel there are links missing, or more abbreviations I've missed please let me know. Any other information that you feel would be good in this basic WIKI I would also appreciate.

First I want to thanks Bonesey for this great information.

A friend is selling me a very nice Submariner, I like it but my concern is that the movement is not a 3135, but a 3035 and I’m not sure if this is gen or a rep.

I’ll appreciate any help identifying if this is gen or rep.

Is 5K a fair price and is this the right movement for that watch?

3035 should be correct for the age of the watch. I don't see any issues with it. Date mag looks a little low though, could be an artifact of the photography or a replacement crystal but that's not a game changer.

Added a wee section at the bottom on how to use a GMT watch. Hope that helps some folks.

Awesome post...thanks for this.

It would be great if you could also point us in the direction of who carries each "level'' of Rolex. For example, if I wanted a watch with A3135/SA3135 movement, here is a list of reputable companies that carry that level.
