Rolex Tropic 38 cystal with NO CYCLOPS!!! for GMT

I have been scouring the internet for information on where to buy a Rolex Tropic 38 crystal or similar to fit on a gen 1675 GMT Master.

I broke my crystal and am over the functionality and the cyclops look.

I know that OEM are near impossible to find (Cousins, Ofrei, and Clark do not carry them) but does any company make aftermarket or something similar?

Could I sand down a 116 crystal?

Any advice is appreciated.

Yes, you can sand down the cyclops. Just use 400grt paper and a polishing wheel.

G-S makes a crystal that might work- PA 462-19M. this crystal has an ID of 30.28mm- I think or could it be the OD? Anyway, something is 30.28mm on the crystal.
They list PA 462-19K as a 116 cyclop crystal with the same 30.28mm dimension.
But they also list another 116 crystal- PA 462-18F- with 30.17mm as the dimension.

Wow that sanding job looks terrifying to do while it's still on the watch!

So I am little confused. Ofrei offers three 116 cyclop crystals as direct replacements for the 1675. 30mm, 30.17mm, and a 30.28mm.

Couldn't any rolex replacement crystal from 30mm - 30.28mm fit a GMT? Not sure how this works.

Bumping this, since I am in a similar 'want' to go cyclopless on my 6542/1675's. Any luck outside sanding?

I made a plea to Clark's a few years ago. I wonder- if there is enough interest if he/they can source them?
