I think dive watches are too informal for suits, unless you're going to some sort of casual wine tasting event or something. If it's truly a formal occasion, I say go with a dress watch.

Is that the Antea KS? Love that watch.

I love that rep owners are concerned with what watch you can wear dressed up or not. Come on guys, it's a rep-- you can wear it with a wife beater and short shorts if you want!

No knocks on reps-- I love mine, buy just don't start believing you are rocking the real deal...

That makes no sense... rep or gen is not the problem. All watches have a certain style to them. Should I wear an iwc port to the beach wearing trunks and flip flops? I could... but I'd look like a fool.

Don't start believing you're rocking the real deal either, you say "I love that rep owners...". Unless you are some genie who can turn reps into gens you're a rep owner yourself, get off your high horse and don't talk to the rep community like you're a famous, snobby gen collector mmkay?

The fact that it's a rep or not doesn't mean squat, we're talking about the design not the fact it's a rep. So a sterile copy is OK but just because it's a rep it's suddenly morally wrong? "No knocks on reps"? You sure about that? Considering the fact everyone is having fun talking about it you start yapping about the fact they're not the gen thing and blah blah? They're aware of that already is there a need to point it out? No. Chill, have fun, if you have nothing constructive to add to the discussion then it's best to keep out of it.

So I take the time and throw a shirt and jacket on. Shoot many pics and upload them to Photobucket for you and this how you thank me! What? :err:

I think it's really cool that Daniel Craig is keeping the Bond tradition alive. If I were wearing mine and someone commented about how nice my bond setup was it would make my day!

As for a rolex being ok to wear dressed up- I consider the black sub the most well-rounded watch there is. I can wear it at the beach or at an opera and it looks just as good in both places. You simply can't beat it

Rolex FTW... I agree with most of was said along the thread, except with the said that the Daytona is busy to go with suits.

It´s low profile (it wears smaller than the Sub) and the smaller clasp, makes it an awesome watch to go dressed up with.

I´m personally wearing my Submariners now with suits (both the classic one and the Ceramic) and I couldn´t be more pleased with them.
...will see if I can take some pics on suit with the Rollies.

Cheers,
Spirit.
