Just a quick one...

What year did they start engraving the crown on the crystal?
And what year did they close 6 and 9's?

Another quick one if anyone knows the answer... why do reps never have the thin red stripe across the caseback? I know its not important but it seems strange when they put hologram stickers on but no line??!

The red line is a case sticker to show you the case has never been opened. It's not a test of authenticity.

wear it a few timnes and the red line disappears it to show that it in mint condition nothing more

i never knew about the engraving of the crown on the glass on the 6' oclock until a customer ask me about it. and now i know there is a crown thanks

If I remember correctly the subs had open 6's and 9's right up until the early 90's.

As for the etched crown, I think it showed up at the same time.
