OMG I just spit coffee all over my keyboard! :biglaugh:
The biggest tell, whilst not visual, is that in modern Rolex's, the crown turns in different directions to advance/retard time than in our Asian and ETA powered reps, the date as well if I'm not mistaken...![]()
so do i care if people don't believe my gen rolex's are real when they see me driving my old truck wearing my normal harley teeshirts, levi's 501 and new balance tennis shoes?
OMG I just spit coffee all over my keyboard! :biglaugh:
Sooooooo, you don't consider it one of the biggest tells without taking the caseback off? Why is this...'cos you never thought of it methinks...sad...so I doubley laugh in your face...:biglaugh::biglaugh:...so there...:lol1::lol1:OMG I just spit coffee all over my keyboard! :biglaugh:
You mean the crown?I am aware of the way they set. I just never hand my watch around the room so everyone can play with the winder.
I've heard the look of the "new" issue Rolex Sub and GMTII reps w/ the 316F steel is VERY realistic (look and feel) ..... anyone who has come in contact with them have an opinion? If they are a step "up", I'd be interested in ordering one!
I've heard a couple different opinions. I wonder if you placed a 316L and a 316F GMT side by side if you could really tell the difference. I wonder even more if you ordered one, how you'd know you got one? Call me a cynic, but it looks like a good way to charge more for a detail you didn't know you needed.
