I purchased this from TimesshopNet here.

TimesshopNet - rolex SUB Noobfactory 2010 Big promotion

I chose the 2836 clone movement. I own the V3 DSSD and wanted something a bit lighter for my wrist and the 16600 Sub-Dweller
fit the bill. It is my favorite Rolex model of all!

The crystal sits pretty high and the HEV looks good.

The only problem was a frozen screw that snapped off trying to size the bracelet. Every screw was frozen and very difficult to adjust.

It does have hallow center links and looks pretty good.

Luckily COLDI is sending me a spare one since my only option with Mark was to buy a replacement.
I promise I will "Pay It Forward".
Thanks for viewing and I welcome your comments. :q5:

[BLINK]Update:[/BLINK]

I have got this beautiful SD back from Jackjo.
Here's the mods he preformed:

Sanded and installed my WM insert.
Installed Gen crown. (Thanks R2 ;) )
Shaved the crown guards.
Polished and oiled the bracelet.

The transformation is amazing. I'll let the pictures speak for them selves.

Now on with the pics. :spank:

Looks good, 5. I think I need one. Did you drool on the crystal or something in your over-excitement? ;)

I actually took all the pictures in between my lessons today.

There were a few that I had to retake because of fingerprints, dust and as you mentioned ..... drool.

Nice pick up. Clean and simple yet has a touch of class and always looks ready for a challenge!

It keeps near perfect time so far. The winding is not as smooth as I'd like. I plan on modding it and will get her serviced soon.

I think you might be confused with the DEEPSEA Sea-Dweller

is yours a ONE off problem with frozen screws or are they all like this?

would oil lubricant help this?

Good question P_D and thanks for asking. I feel much better now. :)

The screw that broke was the last one I had to undo. Go figure.
The three previous ones were stuck and I feel I was lucky with those.
When I tried to re-tighten the other side it felt like the screws were stripped and is barley holding. (fingers are crossed)
This happens from time to time. I don't blame Mark or TimesshopNet.
C'est la vie.

This is a good value SD.

To try and use some type of penetrating oil to undo a frozen screw.
I'll defer this to the experts.

Great review, Q... Thanks!

You mentioned "hollow center links"... What does that mean? Is this good or bad?

Regards

You will forget about that and start drooling too when you get the watches ;)

The Gen bracelet has the hollow center/mid links.
