Hi,

I have one submariner and i want to change the ceramic bezel how do you change the bezel? What is the mm? Is it very ex?

And theres problem with my case tube. I dropped my submariner once and the crown can't screw in and i give to one watchmaker repair the crown and he replace the crown but still can't screw in. I don't know my case tube is it broken a not. How do i change the case tube if my is broken inside?

And the watchmaker change the crown and now if i set my watch time and the crown will also come out. Can i put a genuine crown on my replica submariner stem? And if can how to fix the crown when set the time and the crown won't come out?

Thanks

1. Bezel is not too hard to swap out - blow dryer and GS Hypo cement(or something like it) is needed. Use the blow dryer to heat up the old one and the cement to glue on the new one. Youll need the model # to order the right one but WSO has lots of them: http://myworld.ebay.com/wholesaleoutlet990/&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2754

2. Case tubes need correct sizing, not only the tube but the crown that goes on the tube. Youll have to measure with a dial caliper what is in there and find a correct placement - Cousins/Ofrei/ebay are good places for this.

3. If the crown comes completely out when you go to set the time, you have a stem issue, or the crown's threads are stripped and it slipping off the stem threads. Would need pics to better help

My Suggestion: It needs a watchsmith to repair it unless you feel confident enough to do the work yourself.

Dam...looks to me like the tube stayed on the crown.
You should be able to epoxy it back onto the case.
But then again it doesn't look as though there's much of a collar on the tube to glue to.

Sorry to hear that but from the pics you've posted, the tube has came out of the case and is screwed into the crown. You can see the bottom of the tube in the crown in the 5th pic from the left.
You should take it back to the watchmaker and show him. :)
The tube either came unglued from the case or it twisted off and broke.....at least that's what it looks like to me.

It doesn't even really look like the whole tube that's come out. It almost looks like it's just the upper threaded portion that is stuck with the crown, but that the lower section is still in the case.

Tbh, it's a 21j watch, this might end up costing you more to send away and fix and get parts than it would be just to buy another one.

Thanks for the reply... Btw the watchmaker not that good i regret why in the first place i give him repair my watch...lol But i really like this one no matter how i think is quite worth it... After this issue fix i going to buy the bezel and change.. Cus as you can see my bezel the luminous dot looks fake-ish...
So what do i do next?? Do you have any recommendation/methods for me?? I don't feel like passing to any of my local AD.. Cus they very look down on those who bring replica watch for them to repair.. Like for Instance theres once where i bring my Planet ocean to them asking them do they sell the bezel for planet ocean and they immediately open the case back and look at the movement and rejected and say they don't have and say no point repairing it...

:picard:

Dont EVER take a rep to an AD!

If you insist on trying on fixing this. You need(best i can tell) - a new movement stem for a 21J, a new case tube, and a new crown.
You will need to use an ease-out (tiny bolt extractor) to remove the left over tube piece in the case, before installing the new tube.

IMO - Youd be better off getting a new watch and having this for parts(or sell for parts)

Hey btw how do you this is a 21j movement???lol.. Cus I scared I buy wrongly... Btw the case tube and the crown can I go to Rolex and buy??? Will it fit for the crown? Cus I am afraid for the crown is because Rolex gen crown is for those Swiss stem and I scared all this china stem will not fit... But maybe I will spent my money on repairing this watch.. Cus it looks rather magnificent, terrific... Thanks

Because the movement shot you posted is of a 21j movement. There really is zero point modifying this watch with genuine parts mate. Rolex will not sell you parts, full stop. You can try on eBay though.

They will also not fit to your watch...
So no point as all other guys above said...
Buy a new one from The Trusted Dealers area....
You will see how better it will be !!!

The cost of getting gen crown + parts and then getting a proper watchsmith to do the work is probably more than the cost of just buying a new 21j rolex watch mate.

You will love a good one better if you spend the money on that.

The gen Rolex are quite expensive, and the repair parts should be pretty expensive too, why you dont want to understand that it is super expensive and posibly impossible to fit gen parts on your watches??

Buy some parts in the classifed section to fix it. Another option would be to buy a $30 price angels or Silix sub for parts. You could swap parts as you like.
