I'm offering my latest build up for sale.
The elusive Explorer dial 5512 sub, featuring a beautiful actual Gilt dial, it has a very mesmerising texture.
All engravings are conform with gen, inside caseback is stamped 3rd quarter of 1963.
Crown guards are pointed as they were with this model.
I have made the lugs as close to gen in profile as possible, and chamfering is also very nicely done.

The dial:
Offered as an exceptionally early example of the ref. 5513 from 1962, this ref. 5513 features a rare "Explorer dial" with 3-6-9 Arabic numerals like those seen on the Rolex Explorer. Additionally, those numerals and the dials accompanying indices and hands have a rich golden patina that is as stunning as it is unique. This is a "Kissing L" variation, as the L and E in rolex are very closely spaced, as if they are kissing.
