Rolex Submariner 16610LV SA3135 V2 Review

Hi Guys/Gals,

I recently placed an order with Ryan for a Rolex Sub SA3135 V2 as i loved the movement of the V1 however the stem had issues and these have been rectified in the V2; hence i purchased this.

I am not a Rep nor Rolex expert so please correct me if i am wrong (i am sure i will be )


I bought the watch as well as the box as a complete set for my self and i have to say the quality of the box is brilliant! Nice sturdy and solid make.

The watch is brilliant, the cyclops has great AR and the dial seems fine to me as well. The bezel has a fantastic colour on it and feels really sturdy and genuine when turned. The SEL fitment is brilliant and also the crown and crown guards seem perfectly fine to me - no issues there.

One issue is that the bracelet feels somewhat light but not really light, i would say feels in between heavy and light...does that sound right? Other than that the bracelet has no sharp edges and feels really comfortable in fact.

If you want an honest opinion?

I think it looks great, bar 2 thing for me which would let me know instantly it's a rep.

1. The pearl, if you can find a great WM pearl or gen insert would set this watch off nicely

2. The date alignment is left and low, not a big issue any modder should be able to fix it easy.

But I think it's an awesome rep with a lot of potential well done and enjoy it my friend

i Paid roughly £300 for the lot including delivery by DHL not EMS.

Yeah thanks for the comments guys, it give me a real confidence boost Yeah the datewheel is quite low looking at it :O how much will the modded charge to fix? Also im new to this so whats a WM pearl and how do i get one/fix it?

can you take pics of the side profile showing the crown and then the crystal as well ? are all the dates so low in the window ? Not an easy fix in a 3135 movement

A WM pearl is a watch material pearl, I'm sure if you put an add in the wtb section you'd get one, another alternative could be to get the new TC insert and steal the pearl out of that... But just wear it for a while don't worry about it, because it is a nice rep.... Can you post a few different date shots just so we can gauge the alignment and give you an idea of what to do..

Honestly, the insert is completely wrong color and font, case set and bezel isn't gen construction, cg's are awful as is the crown.
The box is pretty good....sorry, it only matters to people who know what they're looking at....
