Personally think that date looks better but it's really just a personal preference thing. I feel like I'm getting more value from my reps when they have more (working) complications, but it does make it more obvious to spot the rep if done poorly. It's also a bit of a hassle to have to set the date every single time if you're not using a watch winder, so really depends on what your level of laziness is too.
