I'm not sure if you're aware, but there's kind of a golden rule of this forum, that you don't put the hobby at risk by either (a) posting pictures of reps on gen forums; or (b) taking reps into an AD.

Deleting that part of your post may be advisable. I'll then delete the quote.

I deleted the post but not because of you. I just don't want to see more people come out of the wood work like you. This is a hobby not the military.

:lies: I nicely explained what the issue was. It wasn't my intention to offend you, but your response says a lot about you.

it is a hobby, but one that could easily be put in jeopardy. as long as the gen collectors, ad's and manufacturers continue to think that reps are nothing but $20 Canal street junk it affords our suppliers and manufacturers an opportunity to continue to increase the quality of our reps. if they get cracked down on because reps are getting too good we will see a shortage of good reps, prices that are sky high and nothing but canal street crap available.

just my $.02

Oh, I may be a rep noob but one thing I learned quickly... acting arrogant by wearing your rep into an authorized dealer is a FAUX PAS and a risky way to bring you and your rep unnecessary attention. :lolcina: Rolex and their authorized dealers are very aggressive in protecting their trademarks. Personally, I've received cease and desist letters from their lawyers in the past. I was, well... I digress... posting photos of your visit with your rep can be inferred as posturing to the forum members... visiting an AD with a rep on your wrist and boasting about it on a rep or gen forum is like throwing gasoline on a fire! :spank:

Anyway, thanks for the photos of the gens! I need to visit a Rolex AD soon myself, of course, sans any rep watch. :woot:

Dude, you are sad if you think the gen police are walking around looking for Reps on the streets of the US. If the Chinese were worried about it they would stop making reps. Your logic makes no sense.

Like I said show me the gen police walking around on the streets of the U.S. Looking for you and I'll show you a Chinese watch dealer shaking in their boots scared that the feds are looking for them. I'll let you Get back to you x-box and big red.

Your obviously have no idea about the recent government crackdowns in China regarding copyright and trademarked goods. Swiss watch brands have a lot of money and, therefore, influence with various governments. Do some research and you'll be surprised.

If you're scared you should cancel your membership on these forums and drive down to the FBI than turn in your reps and start paying retail. Oh yea, and report your corroboration and involvement with the Chinese. Good luck.

Recent China factory crackdowns where they were shutdown for weeks show that the "gen. police" are strolling around waiting to arrest the rep world. Also look up the recent reps run over by a steam roller in the USA.... think that was for fun or do you think that was the "gen. police"...... exactly.
