How much for a gen xtal? I believe it's hard to be sourced..I am considering to change the crystal for a gen one

Opinions vary and if it was a cyclops model I would get it. Like this I don´think it´s worth touching it, maybe for a Prof crystal to change the looks plus a gen crown for the same price.Hi, I don't know, I was just considering, the crystal for the normal sub ND is 200 euros

Recently in Rolex Forums they mentioned that Rolex has released glossy dial.. I didn't follow too much the issue as I don't really care to be honestQuestion, there are 2 different Dial?
Dial is fine.. It's a pretty damn good rep! I can barely tell.. The easy take away from the macro pics is the cannon pin hole.
I think it's the best diver they've made in decades.

My gen has never looked that matte.
The rep dial the way it is now is actually more accurate. I'd say 75% of the time the dial has a glossy like look. A lot deals with the crystal.
And I'm not sure I even like calling this a matte dial. It's nothing like what I'm used to seeing on vintage dials. Which I guess is why they called it Satin.
Most of the time it looks like this...Agreed, its definitely not that matte 100% of the time, but it does look very similar to the majority of the pics you see on Rolex Forum. Reality is somewhere in between.
When comparing the rep SD4K to a rep Sub, you can see a slight difference in the dial color IF you look hard enough. However, the difference becomes quite obvious when you compare the gen SD to a gen Sub.
