The dial is a bit glossy compared to the gen but I see yours is matte enough, you can see better when outside. These kind of details though only certain people now and pay attention, most probably will be only 1/10000 people you meet that they can tell it's a rep and not the gen itself, amazing piece wear in good health!
Lololol, same thing when they ask about mine they don't believe me! Indeed we are very lucky and to be honest I have lost any gen appetite I used to have..Nowadays the reps are so fantastically made that very few people can tell from a gen. I've a noob DSSD and all my colleagues at work and some friends outside all think it's a gen. I told them it's a rep but they think I'm lying.

Well I had a PO Chrono for 6 years now and I am selling it since it feels too big on my wrist.. After changing all these Rollies I feel my best go would be a Sub so maybe sometime in the future will go for one. Just sometimes when I see them mostly used in some shop, I mean the gens, I don't get the wow gen feeling that I should expect.. Especially the older ones like the 16610, TC feels even betterNo doubt the reps are a great alternative to gens, but a rep is still a rep. I still yearn to own a gen in future but for now, planning a baby soon so have to save a lot of money.

I am with you, I would only buy a gen new from AD.. But I was checking some of the older models as I found this used dealer in town and it was interesting to see how the YM and Sub were looking and feel as used, all of them 5 digit. In any case there is no comparison between a gen and a rep but those reps are really good for someone to get a good idea of the corresponding gen modelReps are good in the 'try before buy' sector, but sometimes after wearing the reps for so long, it becomes a norm. Used Rollies also have become more affordable but I'm also pretty skeptical on the quality, especially if/how the previous owner has used them.
If I really go gen, will buy from an AD and might not be a DSSD. Perhaps, a SD would be fine.

I would never buy brand new from an AD and pay 7.125% sales tax (my state's tax rate) on top of the already high retail price. If I want brand new with boxes and papers with fresh warranty cards there are outstanding dealers on TRF who can get the exact same watch at a discount, plus no sales tax. That is a no brainer. The exact brand new watch, but with 2 ways for me to save money.I am with you, I would only buy a gen new from AD..
