Even Gens have uneven lumes, notice the 1oclock:

RAs is correct for the "dated" lume job look.

Nice Job RA!

The REAL Challenge is to get that matte fuzzy dial look of the gens...

EDIT:

Thats an AWFUL JOB RA! you forgot the white gold surrounds like the gen. (sarcasm)

That picture isn't quite so accurate, though, because that is a tropic domed crystal with some pretty steep curvature at the edges - it's why all the edges of the lume markers appear to be being pulled to the rehaut like they being sucked into a black hole. I have seen that pic on the vintage forums and I love the look. There are some more pics of that same watch with a profile shot showing the crystal. But even so, puffiness and irregularities are normal after all of this time and RA did a great job.

Thanks,

o.k, no problem :)

pm me,

the best way is to start with a stock watch from a dealer of your choice, then I add my personal touch

I have build a lot of 1675, 1680 and 1665 for lowers from NY, OH, NJ and CA,
French Post and USPS have excellent services, I don't limit my mind to EU,

Also if the US demand increases, I will probably open a winter bench in Port ST Lucie/FL as winter in France is not really the fun

For anyone who is still in doubt, go for it.
I had both the red dial and white dial 1680 done by RA. And all I can say is I regret selling the red dial. But so happy with my current white dial.
