You didn't tag the right guy. :-D

Regarding the SH3132 on that watch, it is a pretty reliable movement or I know nothing.

Seems like it's a lottery with that movement. Some are very reliable and some aren't.

Those movements are not reliable at all. Read what people say who serviced them.

"not reliable at all" "ticking bomb"... give me some proods/sources please. Any URL with full review that I can read ?

Of course they are not VERY reliable, of course they are not perfect, but saying "ticking bomb" and "not reliable at all" is a bit exaggerated imo.

I don't think we have nearly enough feedback to judge it that severely.

I have to find other links.

I personally refuse to buy another rep with SH movement unless there are some major changes to the movement. I have 2 watches with SH and both died on me. I'm trying to safe one, it's still at the watshmith but I think it may cost me too much $.
Best alternative is to go with BP or buy JF when SH craps change it for ETA.

Don't get me wrong. I know the issues about the SH movements and particularly the SH3135.

What I say is that I didn't hear lot of people complaining about this particular watch with SH3132, that's what I said, I quote : "Regarding the SH3132 on that watch".

If you're lucky, the movement won't have too much dirt in it and it will work great. But as soon as you service it, the movement is reliable and you can consider it fixed.

What I mean is, the problem is not the movement itself, is the way JF overoils it and sometimes they are dirty. The movement ITSELF is not an issue.

How many times do we have to say it guys, you buy a watch with that kind of movement, get it serviced !

SH3135 is basically the same as SH3132 when it comes to reliability.
The dirt is not the only issue with SH. The way SH are constructed is bigger concern. You would have to change parts which can cost more than watch itself. Simple clean and oils Service won't do the trick.

If I were buying that watch again, which I won't, I wouldn't service it. I would wear it and when it dies in a few months(if I'm lucky) I would change with for ETA movement.

Yes it is.

There is a huge thread about this watch in the Rolex section.
If it isn't too much trouble, could you link the part where there's a JF Rep vs Gen comparison? I've been on the Rolex section for so long and I just can't find it.

I don't even know this watch well and could see it looked rep just with the rehaut shot.
The text is always aligned, but in this one you see on photo 7 that there is a vertical misalignment between the X and the R at 11:00. Each "ROLEX" is at a different height.
