Rolex milagauss

Hi guys

My girlfriend has a genuine rolex milagauss brand new, But latley the watch has been running really slow plus on closure inspection inside theres all dust in the watch face.
This suspose to be a genuine rolex how can there be dust and little hairs showing in the watch face any ideas anyone?

Where did you buy the watch? You should go to any Authorised dealer or to your dealer and show what's wrong with your watch.

Give us some pics, here you can find some experts !

Post some pictures please before you go to the Authorized Dealer and embarrass yourself. Although I would go as Chris suggested as I don't mind a little humility every now and then. But that is just me.

Ok thanks guys thanks for your replies, the only problem is that my girlfriends dad in law got her the watch so she will probably give it back to him to sort. but I might just take it to a dealer because she believes it genuine her father in law susposed to be a millionaire and has loads of watches. But I personally think it's a fake I have a breitling colt oceane auto for 10 years and there's never been not even the slightest dust in my watch face not a spec. If this watch is a real rolex then Iam sorry but rolex are crap..

By the way any tell tell signs to see if the watch is indeed fake

studdering/choppy second hand sweep. Gens are pretty fluid moving.

Up until the latest batch, the cases were stamped 18k. So look on the case, on the rear for the stamp 18k. its small, by one of lugs.

Dust and hair in a brand new Rolex is completely out of the question. It just doesn't happen. Be prepared for answers you probably more than suspect already.

Your girlfriends father-in-law, would mean your girlfriends husbands father... Something else you might want to look into.

OK I will check that out this is the stainless steel version. when the girlfriend is sleeping i'll see if I can take a pic lol as she always takes it off and leaves it hanging around everywere.

This is exciting. Ninja spy pics of your girlfriends Milgauss, taken with night vision cameras whilst she sleeps next to her husband, your twice removed dad in law sipping Lois XIII cognac in the other room polishing his hunting rifle with hundred dollar bills. God help you if you get caught.

My bet is you meant her step-dad, your girlfriend is about 18, and its a rep. A bad one. So if you want to just move two steps ahead and post pics of your girlfriend while she's sleeping, the excitement would build even moreso! You won't!

im going to have to disagree... just because its a gen rolex doesnt mean it CANT come defected. rolex produces thousands upons thousands of rolex's a year. they all cant be perfect.

anyways, didnt he give you the box and papers to go along with the rollie?

Hahahaha I'am a fool sorry guys her step dad I meant. The thing is the step dad thinks he's jack the lad/poser cause he has loads of dosh. so he's bought a rolex which I think is fake to my girlfriend. and also bought one for her sister and there mum. A cpouple of reason why I think its personally fake 1st this is a new rolex and it started running slow like almost 45minutes slow, 2nd the screw's that hold the braclet/strap just came loose it was adjusted to fit her wrist but still it should not come loose, and one day it dropped of her wrist all together and almost lost it LOL then 3rd and final the dust in watch face I could not beileve it suspect or what anyway pics will arrive soon ninja style lol.

Well when u pay a lot a money for a watch like a rolex there should never be any dust and hair in the watch. I don't like rolex watches anyway but if your saying a susposedly quality brand like a rolex has defected watches out there that falls of your wrist cannot tell the right time and has strands of hair in the watch with dust then i'll say this right now don't buy a rolex. As I said I have a brietling colt oceane auto 10 years old now not a spec inside the watch and I also have a rep cartier santos 100 chrono not a spec of dust on the watch face. were on a different level of watches now there should not be huge defects like that. Its like buying a ferrari it looks good but can only do 70mph, like the watch it looks good but cannot tell the right time 45 minutes slow hairs and dust in the watch face watch falling of the wrist lol.

read my milgauss review in my sig... all the signs are there.. look at the clasp, rehaut engraving.. tere hasnt been a rep milgauss yet that has both correct rehaut engraving , correct size 40mm case and correct clasp all in one watch. I can tell you in 2 seconds with a pic. read my review and all will become clear...

also if you have a flashlight you can see an etched coronet if you shine a torch from 12 o'clock down to 6 o clock if it is a normal black dial / white dial . GV with green crystal will not have etched coronet but even the green is different from rollie gen.

and no I own a gen rollie and so do my mum and dad and wife and none of them have hairs/ dust on the dial. No new model (which is what the milgauss is) should be losing that much time .. they are supposed to be cosc factory regulated. Not every watch is submitted for certification and other companies also submit the odd few at random for certification to COSC but due to factory regulation but Ive not come across this (losing that much time /24hrs) in my personal experience with the companys products.

yah, but c'mon P. Sounds like grandma was scratching her crotch with the dial on this one! Love em or hate em, Rolex makes a fine watch. To think a complete lack of QC to this degree is possible, is a liiiiittle far fetched, no?

Guys I'am going to put my ninja suit on tonight and take pics the only thing is I have to use my camera on my mobile as my sister is away on holiday with my didgital camera.

Another thing is on this rolex the back case its blank as far as I can see there nothing on the back of the case like engravings but will take another look at the back for any tiny engravings or this 18k that was said earlier.

This sounds like a complex fkn situation. You could probably pull off a heist at an AD easier than snapping these spy shots. Be careful. If you suspect things are getting too thick just get out of there. Check back in or I'm going to be worried now.
