Could not make up my mind....so I bought two! Those Giovanni E Figlio straps are the bomb!!! They are soooo much better in person than they are in the photos on E's website. Blows MP away IMHO.

In my not so humble opinion, the Giovanni e Figlio are the best straps (equal to the MP's) going and the hides that I use are not as Vintage as the MP but more distinctive.....

Personally, that is what I wear because I love the way it breaks in...it takes about 13 seconds.

i agree with you 100%, my gef was comfortable in about 30 or less minutes and my mp took about 2 days. the gef also turned colors quicker and took on a beautiful look faster. the mp did the same thing but it took about a week. i recomend both of them highly. all i can say is if anybody is on the fence thinking about these buy both if you can. you won't regret it. i certainly haven't. the way they develop a patina is simply amazing.

i got the Bersagliere Cammello (i.e. lightest colored) GEF strap last month andit has gotten much darker since i've started wearing it. compares to the MP "natural" color-changing strap very well
