I love the case shape. I love the bracelet. The movement looks fantastic. But that dial is a heinous crime against good taste. Why the air-king style sports numerals with a fancy fluted bezel? Why the hexagons? Why the chapter ring? Why that stupid fucking name? Hard pass. If they release one with a stick dial I'd get one.
This is the biggest Swiss manufacturer with the largest research budget. They spent money on researching all this ugliness. It will be forgotten like the milgauss.

The movement may be the best development, but it’s an iteration of an already existing movement. But Rolex will make it reliable and make it work. That’s the amazing part. it’s also the biggest stand against Omega’s co-axial.

Still, Seiko still steals the show with their Spring drive. I don’t care how many Hz you got, Spring drive has everyone beat.

This will probably come with a VR or VS 3135 and a 7135 deco plate. Syloxi deco balance bridge. That's not a bad thing, it will get to market faster. I can't see the factories attempting to rep the Dynapulse escapement or any other new movement features.

Agreed. This guy explaining the manufacturing process makes me not see anything close coming out of rep factories:

I don’t know the spring drive that much
Does it need a battery?

You want an Oysterquartz basically.

I wouldn't bet the farm on that. Look at my Black Bay GMT. It's had two movement services under warranty to resolve the date change issues. The second time I believe they put a new movement in vs repair but I have no direct intelligence either way. All I know is the winding felt different vs both before and after the first repair attempt, and it's been flawless now for over a year since the last repair.

As far as movement goes, a Bulova precisionist movement would simulate the sweep and thickness, only thing they would do is have to add a fake rotor and Deco plate on the see-through case back

No battery. It’s a normal rotor that moves the watch as normal but also generates and sends an electrical charge to a quartz module that brakes the second hand. But the brake applied is so smooth that even high heat automatic movements cannot match the smoothness of a Spring Drive. It’s like a hybrid system.

It’s also accurate to 20 seconds per YEAR. Nothing can even come close to it’s accuracy or smoothness.
