@CTime this is amazing, thank you!

The case looks amazing except the rehaut engraving. It is way off and it seems like this is a new issue for CF in general. It is aligned in some places and not in others, suggesting there is no way to adjust the movement and dial position to fix it.
Agreed - it appears as though the right side and lower number are perfectly aligned, but on the entire left side of the rehaut the "ROLEX" letters are all consistently off. The left side is just printed a bit shifted.

This amazing thread sent me on a bender looking at Clean Factory rehaut alignment, because I had thought of CF as one of the best in the industry. It seems like they nailed it on the older version 3185/6 cases. Even if a movement/dial was misaligned, the spacing was right so you could rotate for a predictable fix.

Others have explained that CF had to tool the case differently to fit the DD3285. It would seem that whatever new tooling CF has set up is not dialed in right. In going through TD listing photos, sales threads, and Reddit QC threads I have not seen a single DD3285 model that didn’t have rehaut spacing problems that would mean misalignment on at least some of the rehaut.

Still the absolute best in the game right now, but it would be cool if they could get back on top of this detail… as others point out, gens are often misaligned, but never have spacing issues that prevent proper alignment.

this is my approved qc of the latest one with new serials (non Y2L3) which could mean they upgraded the case for this aspect.

(sorry for hijacking the thread with an unrelated model to the topic)

@wubsub thanks for posting that! I think it's relevant to the thread. The rest of this VTNR looks amazing so if they get the rehaut right as they did on the BLNR you're getting, it's perfect in my book. Looks like your movement/dial could use a twist to the right to be aligned, but the spacing seems good, just like on many gens.

Separately, if you decide you don't need yours you've got a reserved buyer here on standby!

Can’t believe the lack of love for this VTNR. Loving this clean, beating my gens for weeks!

Hi my fiends,
Sorry for delaying this post so much, here it comes.

The predecessor of this watch dates back to the Rolex 6542 left-handed version in the mid-1950s, there are also left-handed versions of the 1675, and they are very rare.

The differences between Sprite and other GMT are the DW and crown position, they are changed to the 9 o’clock.

Clean still uses Dandong 3285 movement on this model, no need to mention that stability and power reserve are as good as always. Need to mention that Clean spun the movement 180°to fit this model, so the adjusting is different when you use your left hand.

We can see from the pictures that the most difficult part of making a Sprite insert is the transition of the black and green at 3 and 9 position, as well as the color correction of the green part. They nailed both of it, thanks to the massive experience from making green submariner before.

Hope you guys all well,
See you next time!

Didnt anyone notice the differences at the crown?

The spikes of the Rolex crown are just straight lines. The Gen shows a lot more pointy spikes.

This is almost the last details that is keeping me from buying from Ctime.

L6v6 is the latest one. Rehaut is now corrected.
I ordered and received the QC pictures. This is the L6V3 and I checked the rehaut alignment on the left side. Imo good alignment, going to OK this beautiful piece. But you all may check for your information.
