Just got mine from Ryan at Intime about 15 minutes ago, looks and feels great, will change the bracelet out most likely.

My biggest issue with the rep 216750 is the hand lume is white and the marker lume is a light grey. The gen clearly has white lume on both. Still a great looking watch though.

Just want to add some more Milgauss 1019 content

Gen Details:
Dial variations :

CERN Dial - no lume on dial or hands
the 1019 was offered in two flavours silver and black
Silver dial has a light vertical brushing with a sunburst effect
(cern example shown)

Black dial
matte black

Gloss black aka "Black Swan " only 3 known in existence and one was recently auctioned off at Christie's

RAIL DIAL : Mk1 dial 1960 to mid 70's rail dial had 5th of a second markers and lume along the 3 6 9
indices

NON RAIL DIAL : Mk2 dial mid 70's to end of production in 1988
had half second markers and lume was at the edge of the indices

CERN DIAL mk1 rail dial - no lume

Just want to post an update on my build.

I was able to find a flat acrylic crystal with beveled edges in 33 mm to fit my modified case.....sort of.
Its a snug fit and I was able to get the crystal to fit over the outer lip of the case and while applying light pressure I installed the bezel. A bit of a sketchy fit but so far it is holding tight with no issues....

I prefer the flat crystal over the domed that I had on there.. The domed crystal seemed to magnify the rehult where the flat does not. The flat crystal isn't as tall as the gen...the profile isn't correct but its as close as I can get without pulling the entire watch apart doing more machine work to the case and bezel or sourcing a taller crystal which I will be looking for.

Overall I would consider this project done!! I am quite satisfied with the results...Its a full custom built one off.

Wow, even GEN’s have flaws.. the 12 triangle is not centered.. it is slightly off center.

While I was assembling parts and a plan for my 1019 Milgauss build , I did a quick and dirtly 6541 Bobby Alison build...that lasted a couple of days

I like this watch and wanted to build one a year ago I like this model cause it didnt have the rotating bezel that made it look Sub like.
I had it a couple of days then noticed the hour hand was slipping on the pinion....while taking it apart I broke the seconds pinion off in the second hand....Dusting both the movement and hand in one shot....FML least I got a few nice pics of it before doing so lol
